This documentary was produced in Los Angeles by Prime Scape Production, One Breath, and ViewPark.
It tells the powerful true story of an Australian family who, against all odds and with no funding or resources, founded a maternity hospital in Africa to support women giving birth in extremely vulnerable conditions.
Filmed without a predetermined script or structure, the documentary was shot organically, following the rhythm of daily life as events unfolded.
In the editing room, our task was to uncover and shape the story hidden within that raw material—letting the images guide us. With patience and sensitivity, we gradually gave form to the narrative, refining it until we captured the emotional core and quiet strength of what had been lived and filmed.
Conceived as both a call to action and a fundraising piece, the film seeks to raise awareness and generate support to improve the lives of these women and their newborns.
